Most modern storage places have RV parking these days. They are protected 24 hours a day.

Also, does anyone know what to do with your RV when you leave the country? I travel quite frequently for work, and would need to put it in storage a bit. Any tips/advice/suggestions on companies?

And how much does that sort of thing cost?

Thanks!

Places I frequent:

Miami
Washington, D.C.
Los Angeles
San Francisco

Obviously, it's hard to park in the city, although I've seen quite a bit of RV parking in Venice (I know whassup.)
Any other advice would be fabuloso.

I'm not talking about storing it, I'm talking about when you're traveling around living the nomad lifestyle.

Where are you located? I know a friendly guy with a lot in Hayward, CA, where you could store your vehicle for less than RV lot prices.

I've wanted to convert a vehicle for a long time now... what an outrageously exciting project. However, I'm not interested in living the old folks RV lifestyle, travelling from Walmart to Walmart. What are some guerilla style parking places (particularly in Cali) to park your new pad overnite... or two... without paying "rent" fees of mobilehome parks?
