Where do you park them?

topic posted Thu, October 6, 2005 - 4:36 PM by  Maya
I've wanted to convert a vehicle for a long time now... what an outrageously exciting project. However, I'm not interested in living the old folks RV lifestyle, travelling from Walmart to Walmart. What are some guerilla style parking places (particularly in Cali) to park your new pad overnite... or two... without paying "rent" fees of mobilehome parks?

      Places I frequent:

      Miami
      Washington, D.C.
      Los Angeles
      San Francisco

Obviously, it's hard to park in the city, although I've seen quite a bit of RV parking in Venice (I know whassup.)
Any other advice would be fabuloso.

Also, does anyone know what to do with your RV when you leave the country? I travel quite frequently for work, and would need to put it in storage a bit. Any tips/advice/suggestions on companies?

And how much does that sort of thing cost?

        Thanks!
